Dear Mosquitoes,
Well, here is the last bit of very important info that you will need before you head out to the 4th hilliest RAGBRAI ever. If you are not in shape by now then you will just have to find an extra beer before you leave that town! We are working on a few last minute bus items, to help you all look cool, but it should be ready to go. Hopefully the bus is getting a new paint job to freshen it up. We are still looking for someone to put some nice art work on the side, but we needed to get the base coat all prettied up. We also need to get it all cleaned up inside. We may have to do this on the Friday before we leave since we may not have the bus back until that time. It would only take a couple of hours at the most with several people helping. It would be great if a few of you could come help me do this.
The shirts are great and go to the printer this week. The shorts are being shipped this week. If you haven’t paid, please let me have the goods, so we don’t have to kick your butt. Stickers and tattoos are coming in hot also.
The pre-RAGBRAI party will be in the same location as the last several years, my house. Most of you know where that is but I can give you directions if you need them, so let me know. We will start the party as soon as you get there. I work until about 3 that day, so sometime after that is good. I will probably be cleaning the bus along with taking care of my new child (no, he/she is not here yet, but is only a couple days away) that afternoon, so help is greatly appreciated. The bus will be leaving promptly at 9am on Saturday to get across the state, so be there by then if you want a ride. Bruce doesn’t mess around, so don’t be late. We have a lot of yard to camp if you want and some floor space, but keep in mind that there are a couple of children around, so they will be up early.
I also want to send out a quick congratulations to Sarah and Beav on their recent marriage and Bill and Michelle on the birth of their new baby boy.
Thanks for all of the help, especially to Majerle on the shorts and Chris Murders (aXe) on the help with the bus. See you all on July 18th. Oh, by the way, Christine has a date with the maternity ward tomorrow morning. Here comes larva #2!
