Mosquitoes,
Here is a quick note to keep you apprised at to what is happening with our team. It is all going to fast now! I can’t keep up with what is going on around here, so this is going to be quick.
The Mosquito ride is going to be on June 12th. We will be starting in Dysart with the ride going down to Clutier and Elberon. It will be a great time, as usual, so tell your friends and be ready. I don’t get to do these rides much anymore, so at least show up for me! The bus will not be present for this, because it is in the process of being painted. I have it to its location and it will be worked on over the next month or two. The guy didn’t know if he could get it done this year or if we will have to phase it out over the next couple of years. Some of you old timers would know our phlebotomy mentor, Jorge, whom is the one taking care of this for us.
We need shirt ideas!!!! Help!!!
We are going to charge $120 for RAGBRAI this year, or $20 per day, and with the $15 yearly mosquito membership fee, the total will be $135. I think it is about what we had in the past. If you want to get that out to me, you are welcome to do that.
Anybody out there have any sponsor info for me? Please let me know if you have a lead or something, so we can get that going as well.
That is all I have for now, except to congratulate Robert Gallery and the Hawks. He was the second pick in the NFL draft and is expected to start right away! We need a couple more of him over the next couple years. I don’t think ISU got anyone drafted this year. Too bad for them!
