Dear Mosquitoes,
This is going to be a very quick note to all of you out there, but it is definitely necessary to get this out. Hopefully everything has gone well during the past few months and with the new year everyone is getting excited about starting another new biking season, full of fun and joy! We will start off with a change of address. Christine and I have now moved into a house, as of January 5th. We are only about 10 minutes away from where we lived before, but there is a lot more room. The new Mosquito address is 2970 Winston Circle, Marion, IA 52302. The new phone number is 319-373-0514. Please make these changes promptly, so that we don’t have any mix-ups. This is the real reason the notes are not very creative and are short this time Next thing, is of course the BRR ride. Yes, it is time to get in shape, so that you can make it the whole 20 miles in the 15 hours that we are given. We have two hotel rooms rented in Perry, Ia at the Super 8. The ride, of course, starts in Perry and goes to the nearest bar and back, and will be held on February 7th. We would love a good showing, so make your plans now, because it is a blast. Make sure you dress warmly! Finally, we must start to talk money. We would like the usual $10 membership fee per person. If you would like to contribute more, that would be awesome, because there are plenty of repairs that need to be paid for. We had the steering redone recently, the exhaust redone, the gas tank fixed and will need different carpet up front and revamping of the wooden dance floor. This is going to be an expensive year, and we need all of the help that we can get. That reminds me to tell you that now is a good time to start getting sponsors, because most businesses still have money to give away. By the middle of the year a lot of this money is gone. Let’s get all of this money that these businesses plan to give away, before someone else gets it. See you on the BRR!
